THYROID PROFILES

Who is the thyroid profile for?

The profiles are recommended for patients with suspected hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. The tests included in this profile are used to measure how well your thyroid gland is working and observe any signs of abnormalities in its functioning. The tests are also used for monitoring thyroid function during the treatment. Thyroid disorders shouldn't be neglected since they may have a very negative impact on many life functions.

Top Medical Clinic offers 4 thyroid profiles:

Thyroid profile 1: FT4, TSH

Thyroid profile 2: TSH, Free T3, Free T4, thyroglobulin Abs, thyroid peroxidase

Thyroid profile 3: TSH, FT3, FT4

Thyroid ABS: Thyroglobulin + Thyroid Peroxidase Abs – THAB

In case the patient wishes to book a visit with our endocrinologist, they should undergo the tests from the second and third profile and bring the results to the doctors' appointment.

It’s responsible for helping to regulate many of the body’s processes, such as metabolism, energy generation, and mood by releasing hormones to blood.
