Dr Sławomir Kiepura Surgeon, Orthopaedist

Surgeon, Orthopaedist Dr Sławomir Kiepura

In 2002 I graduated at the Faculty of Medicine at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
In 2010 I obtain the title of specialist in orthopedics and traumatology surgery.

In 2012 I started specialized training in the field of pediatric surgery.

I have many years of experience in the treatment of surgical and orthopedic disorders in both children and adults.

I have a number of certificates confirming my practical skills including: certified musculoskeletal ultrasound of the abdomen, hip dysplasia prevention in children or microsurgery and hand surgery.

In Top Medical Clinic in London, there is the possibility of conducting physical examinations and laboratory studies in a vast range typical for specialty treatment. In our Clinic we got the possibility to perform minor surgical procedures under local anesthesia, such as the removal of skin lesions, excision of calluses, nail wedge excision in in-growing toes etc. On the other hand a minor orthopedic procedures can also be done especially in terms of intraarticular injections ( most often knee joint) of anti-inflammatory and / or analgesics agents in the course of osteoarthritis or post-traumatic arthritis.

A lot of my time is spent on preventive examinations for disorders which affect the feet and gait, the posture and screening for developmental dysplasia of the hip. While this consultation I 'm trying to explain and sort out all parents' doubts concerning the details of child's condition or treatment.

Basic ultrasound study, which is a component of some of the orthopedic or surgical consultation, is done if necessary in the framework of the visit.

Currently apart of consultations at this Clinic I work and I operate in the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Specialist Hospital in Krakow. This is branch set to perform a variety of surgical specialties.

In my work I extremely appreciate the opinions of patients that provide an opportunity for me to precisely meet their expectations. I should be grateful to complete a short questionnaire after the visit.
